A cracked or dented section does not always mean a new door. If the tracks, springs and the other sections are healthy and the door's maker still supplies the section, one section can be replaced and the door will look and run right again. We check the whole door first, because a bent section often means a bent track or a worn hinge, and a panel swap on a door that is otherwise finished is effort wasted.
The match matters more than the look. DASMA warns that a part that looks similar may not have the same strength, and that replacing parts on a tested or wind-load-rated door with parts that are not identical may weaken the whole assembly. So we match manufacturer, profile, gauge, insulation and color, put the struts and hinges back where the original had them, and re-square the door in its tracks.

On a door approved in Miami-Dade, the label on the track, bottom angle or inner panel carries the approval number, so the replacement section has to belong to the same listed assembly, with its struts and fasteners.
